KINCP

Ukarimu Ministries is registered as a non-profit Trust in Kenya. It is a multifaceted ministry which Chip & Chari Kingsbury founded in 2004 which focuses on working with young adults in Kenya, whether they be university students, married couples or new parents. We have a Management Board of 9 members, including Chip and Chari.

Ukarimu Ministries began as a student fellowship in 2004, meeting in the Kingsburys’ home and has branched out to now include Praxis Fellowship – a university based fellowship which helps students learn to be salt and light in their communities, Serefatha Sisters and Iron Men – gender based student mentoring programs. In addition, Ukarimu Ministries runs a scholarship program for needy students, especially those involved in ministry together with us.

In 2008, Ukarimu Ministries branched out to include family ministry. We now organize, host and facilitate premarital counseling for couples, Reality Check for newlyweds desiring to build their marriages on a good foundation, regular marriage enrichment seminars, quarterly Family Matters seminars for the community, in partnership with community churches, and parenting seminars on a request basis.
