I Thank God for Elim!

Wow! Thirty-six years ago, I walked into Dr. Ron Burgio’s office to apply for my Elim Christian working papers. I was 26 years old, burning with passion and gratitude of how God had rescued me from a lifestyle contrary to anything remotely close to Christianity. It seemed to me that Elim shared that same excitement and passion. It was a true connection. I served as a youth leader as I enrolled at EBI&C that next December. While attending Elim, I served in my local church and met my wife, Sherrie. It wasn’t long before Elim became a solid part of my Spiritual DNA. Over the years I have traveled around the world (11 Missions trips), meeting others that served the vision of Elim Fellowship. Being connected to Elim has been an incredible joy – through the good times of planting 2 churches and incredible community outreaches, as well as through the difficult times of a church split and misunderstanding based on human frailty. Elim has not only stood by my side and supported me through each season but embraced my calling to serve those in my sphere of influence. Elim is a wonderful balance of personal involvement and watchful autonomy. I thank God for Elim!
